1592 Shade

I’m more thinking of Yin, the little girl standing behind Yang on the Acropolis, checking her watch and waiting for the time when the clouds will rise to bring some shade to the place (recall the Yang kanji – FRAME 1300).

  1. A good idea here might be to recall the Battle of Thermopylae, which ties into the acropolis. In the film 300, which was about that battle, a Persian says, “Our arrows will blot out the sun!”, and the Greek responds, “Then we will fight in the shade.” The arrows can be imagined as a rising cloud, which is what they look like in the film. Then you just need to find some way to work the clock into all this. (I chose to imagine it being so quiet that you could hear a clock ticking, since the scene was like that in the film.)
