The Heisig Kanji Stories
This blog features my own stories (and some inspired from others) on the kanjis in lesson 20 to 56 of Remembering the Kanji v. 1 by prof. Heisig. I know it’s full of spelling mistakes and sometimes confusing notes - because it is just that – my own notes.
However, I put it up here in case you can make any use of it.

Removing the middle vertical stroke from the mosaic-puzzle gives us a puzzle where the bricks only can be moved like a snake. The puzzle itself is A Chinese Zodiac Puxxle.

Taking away the tree in the kanji for willow back in 1421, you are left with a hole that for many people will be a sign of a hare having lived there.

You may easily recognise the stanchion in which cows usually live behind… Careful with the stroke order.

The water represent the water of the lagoon, where someone wearing a costume bound up with tail feathers walking around. If you look closely, the tail feathers are attached to the costume with staples from both inside and outside.
